A mass produced Single-use cotton gauze grocery bag The present invention provides a unique design that turns an environmentally-friendly medical gauze fabric into a sturdy single use grocery bag that can later be used as a cleaning cloth.

Design Environmental benefits The bag is made with lower grade cheesecloth gauze fabric (grade #10 – #50). It weighs only 0.3 -0.5 oz/bag and can carry up to 15 pounds. The cotton (as a raw material) for each 0.3 oz. bag will cost around $0.01. The lower the grade, the less cotton will be required to make the bag. This satisfies both the consumers’ needs and leaves a smaller footprint on the environment. The bag made with grade #10 - #50 will provide higher environmental benefits such as less water needed to grow the cotton, less energy to manufacture it and less fuel required for its transportation and distribution
