About

As an intellectual property attorney, my role is to be a part of the creative process. The best parts of humanity show themselves when we innovate, and my job is to provide the tools to bring ideas to life. Whether it is a unique novel, a great new craft beer, or a rocket engine, I want to learn everything about it and be part of the team that makes it happen.

I believe passionately in the power of ideas. Ideas challenge and push people to test limits, ultimately leading to change that betters lives. Ideas took me from riding freight trains across country to watching the sunrise from Mount Kilimanjaro. Ranger School, the New York City marathon, jumping out of planes -- I have always pushed past boundaries. My
passion for ideas has taken me across the globe from volunteering on a Guatemalan coffee plantation to camping 200 feet above the ground in the redwood forest.

I have handled over twenty trials, an equal number of administrative hearings, and numerous depositions. I have worked on complex litigations and led trial teams to favorable client outcomes. My unique approach to teaching and my ability to make complex facts clear has given me opportunities to teach groups ranging from 5 to 500 people.

If you are looking for new approaches, unique insights, and someone willing to lead a team to success, I am eager to talk to you. Let's build something together.
