About
I have been working in the field of Intellectual Property for more than 20 years. I worked for large sized Munich IP law firms as well as industrial patent departments (Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Qimonda Dresden). The opportunity of working on both sides resulted in a thorough understanding of the needs of every party. While working in the industrial patent departments, I gained considerable experience regarding patent portfolios and the German Act on Employee’s Inventions (“Arbeitnehmererfinderrecht”). In particular, I enjoyed working together closely with the inventors and the litigation/licensing department in order to develop an optimal patent filing strategy for protecting new technologies.
The main focus of my daily work now lies in discussing invention disclosures with inventors, drafting patent applications and prosecution of patent applications.
