About

I have been called an innovative and creative technical leader due to my having provided multi-million-dollar growth, development and maximization of profitability, and the building or restoring market share in highly complex and competitive business climates for some of America’s best Companies.

During the course of my efforts, I have worked on thousands of patents in the course of brokering, prosecuting and enforcement efforts. In terms of brokering, I am often asked to breathe life into a patent or portfolio, determine any prior art issues and evaluate infringement opportunities. I typically generated marketing materials, high level claims charts and prior art reviews to this end.

In terms of enforcement, I am usually brought in to provide expert witness coaching, develop litigation-level claims charts and aid in translating technical patents into legal and judge-level verbiage. I also have 2 published patents and 4 pending patent applications.

Created systems and processes for analyzing and packaging over 2,000 patents that led to successful brokerage transactions.
• Patent Development / Website Tracking: Developed patented innovation in website tracking for DATATRENDZ, LLC. Created a fully functional prototype and led patent prosecution for published and pending applications in an attempt to attract potential investors. Led litigation to overcome a hostile takeover and worked with multiple legal resources to maintain and solidify IP position. These efforts led to victory and retained DataTrendz LLC.’s IP rights. This effort created a predictable, flexible, and scalable online marketing strategy that is still in play.
• IT Strategy: Recruited to assume the Chief Technology Officer role and establish infrastructure in support of business applications for COMPARISON SHOPPING ONLINE (CSO), LLC. Conceived, developed, and led advanced global virtualization infrastructure; increased portals from 2 to 50, reduced initialization time from weeks to hours, and re-tasked or invented technologies to integrate data streams (a first for the company). The team achieved peak efficiency within 6 months and within the year, business capacity increased 60%; enabling expansion to 9 countries.
• Social Marketing Ingenuity: IP GHOSTER, INC. Had a goal to obtain 250 users in 4 countries, but budget would only support a finite marketing effort. Served in the role of CDO / Operations / Product Development and in 10 days, executed a marketing strategy to exceed goals despite restrictions; utilizing unique banner ads and tightly-controlled managed social ad campaigns. In 6 months, delivered 1,693 users in 58 countries, nearly 7X expectations within the same budget.

PATENTS
UNOBTRUSIVE METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR COLLECTING INFORMATION TRANSMITTED OVER A NETWORK; UNITED STATES 8,566,443; The present invention relates generally to unobtrusive methods and systems for collecting information transmitted over a network utilizing a data collection system residing between an originator system and a responding system. In one embodiment the Originator System can be a web browser and the Responding System can be a web server. In another embodiment the Originator System can be a local computer and the Responding System can be another computer on the network. Both these and other configurations are considered to be within the domain of this invention.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR COLLECTING INFORMATION TRANSMITTED OVER A NETWORK; UNITED STATES 8,095,622; The disclosure provides a transparent means of collecting context-dependent data nested in a client-server request/response paradigm. Through the use of an embedded web server, messages are terminated between the user and the disclosure wherein the disclosure takes on the role of a web server. The disclosure then initiates a new request, based on the content of the incoming request and submits this new message to a destination system. In this latter case, the disclosure is acting in the role of a web client. The response coming back from the destination system is then terminated at the disclosure which is still acting in the role of a web client. The content of the response is used to generate a new message which is sent back to the user. In this final phase, the disclosure is acting in the role of a web server.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING, IDENTIFYING AND CATEGORIZING INTERMEDIATE NODES; UNITED STATES 13/465,799; A system and method for obtaining node information from a variety of potential sources and storing the information in a logical repository, and a system and method for identifying and categorizing Intermediate Nodes using a combination of requesting and responding node information.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR PROTECTING COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN NODES; UNITED STATES 13/480,057; Systems and methods for protecting communications between at least two nodes which protect the identity of a node requesting information, provide content of communications being sent and/or obscure a type of communication being sent. Varying degrees of protection options including encryption, intermediate node termination and direct node communications are provided.
