I have been in the internet business since 1996. My goal is to make people happy through internet services.

CAREER SUMMARY
One year experience in freelance translation and two years in public relations agency, I had built basic business skills especially in printed media and projects. To challenge my own career, I moved on to then-still-emerging internet service industry.
My 15+ years of work at Yahoo Japan Corporation gave me a chance to develop my abilities to manage web service projects and business as well as experience in sales and marketing. During my early years at Yahoo! JAPAN, I, as the producer, introduced many services such as My Yahoo!, Messenger, Mail, Shopping, and Auctions. I also had a role as an international producer while the company focused in localization, bridging between Japan and the US counterpart. The latter 10 years, my main focus at the company had shifted to leadership roles as a head of business units and as a corporate SVP, maximizing profitability of the company.
June 2012, I moved to Rakuten Inc., where I served as Chief Social Officer and evangelized social media in its domestic and global services as an executive officer until June 2015.
I am currently an investor, advisor and self-employed. I am open to new opportunities as an investor and/or advisor positions.
