Work history

Thomas worked for a law firm in Madrid (Int. Commercial Law), the German Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia (Int. Business Law), the European Commission in Brussels (EU Competition Law in the media sector) as well as for an international corporate law firm in Brussels (Competition & Commercial Law).
Since 2015, Thomas works as legal counsel for a reputed institute of the German Banking Industry and runs the independent law firm Rechtsanwaltskanzlei Kowohl | TJK (www.tjk-law.de).

Education and qualifications

Thomas studied law at the Philipps-University Marburg (Germany), EU Law at the University of Wroclaw (Poland) and specialized in Public International Law & IP Law at the Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany).
Thomas passed the 1st and 2nd state exam in Germany and has been admitted to the German Bar.
