man of many interests, Vincent handles matters in various areas of IP, including designs, copyright, geographical indications, and trademarks. Vincent's portfolio includes the prosecution of trademarks, designs and copyright, as well as enforcement matters relating to passing off, anti-counterfeiting and opposition.
Vincent also advises clients on the exploitation of intellectual property especially in relation to the commercialisation and monetisation of intellectual property assets. Outside of work, Vincent can usually be found speaking at various IP seminars or contributing articles to numerous journals, newspapers and magazines.
Work history
Before co-founding Gordian, Vincent had worked as a manager and an executive at two intellectual property firms. Vincent has a wealth of experience handling hearings, oppositions, negotiations and conflict resolutions. He had also assisted various government bodies in the monitoring and enforcement of their geographical indications.
Vincent's work experience also extended well beyond the IP field. With a work history as eclectic his interests, he has at various points in his career, worked as a writer; a freelance copywriter and illustrator; a professional photographer; an legal intern in the pensions department of an international law firm; an English/History teacher; a Law tutor; a translator; a musician; as well as a cook at a Thai restaurant.
