Alder IP is a specialised law firm based in Sydney Australia. Its aim is provide realistic and commercial legal advice to businesses and companies who are interested in developing their intellectual property. We aim help clients maximise their intellectual property protection in a way to make them more attractive to investors and customers.
We provide services relating to intellectual property registration, licensing and assignment. We also provide advise and assistance in relation to capital raising or corporate fund raising.
Anthony is a qualified patent attorney, trademark attorney and solicitor with 15 years of experience.
UTS: University of Technology, Sydney, Lecturer
Anthony was a lecturer for the post graduate law course "Interpretation and Validity of Patents". This course is a mandatory requirement for people studying to become Australian Patent Attorneys.
Calix Limited, Legal Counsel/Company Secretary
I managed and advised on all legal issues relating to the company including corporate and business legal issues. I also managed the intellectual property portfolio of the company. I also managed all of the legal work relating capital raisings and potential capital raising through share issues, possible ASX and AIM listings and private equity financing.
ResMed, Patent Counsel
Managed and prosecuted a large global patent portfolio for a well known medical device company relating to the treatment of sleep apnea. At the time of working for Resmed, their portfolio included about 1700 patent applications.
Hunter Immunology, Legal Counsel/Patent Counsel
I managed the all legal work, assisted with company secretarial issues including board advising. Hunter is a vaccine and pharmaceutical developer with an extensive patent portfolio.
Ventracor, Patent Counsel
As Ventracor's patent counsel, I managed prosecution and filing of all of their IP. I also managed their IP Strategy and review policies. I negiotated and drafted their IP licenses.
