About

I studied the physics of the early universe in graduate school, and then became a physics professor. After seven years as a professor, I got interested in intellectual property law and decided to go to law school. Now I'm an attorney working mostly on patent prosecution and litigation relating to high-tech fields and emerging technologies such as alternative energy. I also have a passion for bicycles and enjoy helping bicycle-related companies with their intellectual property. I am a member of the Oregon and Arizona bars, and am admitted to practice before the USPTO.

Specialties: Patent prosecution, patent litigation, trademark law, licensing agreements, scientific and legal expert consulting, emerging technologies, alternative energy, imaging systems, medical instruments, biotechnology.
