Patent Granted A crystal is grown by the solvothermal method while causing a solvent and a given amount of a substance different in critical density from the solvent to be present in the reactor. Thus, the position in which a crystal precipitates is regulated and the yield of the crystal is improved. Furthermore, impurities are prevented from coming into the crystal to enable the crystal to have a heightened purity.
