Patent Granted Provided are a flex-rigid printed circuit board, which can improve durability against the fold of a flexible portion while retaining the flexibility of the flexible portion and which can retain conduction in a rigid portion, and a method for manufacturing the printed circuit board. In the flex-rigid printed circuit board, a conductor layer is formed on at least one face of a base film, and one region containing the base film is a rigid region whereas the remaining region containing the base film is a flexible region.
