ZnO fiber

Patent Pending PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ZnO fiber which is responsive to visible light and can be considered as a material capable of deteriorating contaminant gases to environment; that is to provide a preparaton process using bis acetyl acetonate zinc-1 hydrate, an organic complex of zinc represented by Zn(acac)<SB>2</SB>-H<SB>2</SB>O (hereinafter abbrebiated as Zn(acac)<SB>2</SB>) as a raw material to obtain visible light responsive ZnO fiber through a sublimation process, an organic to inorganic conversion process by superheated steam, and a particle growth process by heating.
