Permeability measurement

Patent Granted A permeability measuring device includes: magnetic field generation means for applying am alternating field of a predetermined frequency to a magnetic body to be measured; a probe brought into the vicinity of or contact with a micro region of the magnetic body to be measured to which the alternating field has been applied; a resonator having coil wound around the probe and generating a magnetic field of a resonance frequency higher than the frequency of the alternating field applied to the micro region near to or in contact with the probe, wherein the inductance of the coil is changed by the change of the permeability of the micro region; measuring means for measuring a permeability of the micro region of the magnetic object to be measured by the change of the resonance frequency of the resonator in accordance with the change of the coil inductance.
