Patent Pending PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the pretreatment of a mammalian tissue material for the preparation of a specimen for PrPSc (scrapie-type prion protein) detection and measurement to complete the pretreatment with reduced number of steps in a short time without exerting adverse effect on the detection and measured value of PrPSc.
