Patent Granted A rigid ballistic protection plate, characterized in that it comprises: a) an impact layer (1) that absorbs and dissipates energy, composed of a polymer reinforced by synthetic fibers in a unidirectional or perpendicular configuration, with a modulus of elasticity greater than 50 GPa and with a thickness determined by the caliber, velocity, weight and type of ammunition; and b) a support layer (2) that reflects energy by taking advantage of the impedance difference with the impact layer (1), composed of foam rubber, which has a density in the range of 10 kg/m3 to 200 kg/m3, a modulus of elasticity in the range of 0.5 MPa to 20 MPa and a thickness in the range of 1 mm to 10 mm.
