Hi! We are a startup company based in Germany. For U.S.-related work, we are currently looking for a startup lawyer who has experience with transatlantic business and can help us out. However, it is a bit difficult to find the right "go-to" person who can advise us long-term. Based on previous experience not every lawyer is what we're looking for and we have spent some time looking for the right fit. Of course, finding someone in the States won't work the same way we did it locally and I would be grateful for some tips on how to select the right startup lawyer in another country.
