In our startup we have many people engaged in developing software products and wearables technology who also work for other tech companies in their "day job" to keep a regular income. I know it is pretty common for their employment contracts to contain clauses assigning any IP created during their work to their employers. How can we make sure that this does not affect our own IP?
Our people are only working for the startup in their freetime, is their a good way to create proof of that?
And: What about independent contractors? Do we have to take different measures in their case?
