概要
Mike McCollum is an attorney with the firm of John V. Robinson, P.C., focused on intellectual property, small business law, and entrepreneurship. He received an advanced law degree from Duke University where he studied law and entrepreneurship, including business strategy, corporate counseling, entrepreneurial advising and venture capital finance, while working with start-up companies and business/technology accelerators in the Research Triangle in North Carolina. He also served as a judge for a multi-state start-up venture/business planning competition. While at the University of Richmond, Mike studied intellectual property and international law, including two summers at the University of Cambridge. Upon graduation he earned the law school's Intellectual Property Certificate With Distinction, was awarded the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law, membership in the Order of the Coif and the McNeill Honor Society, and the John Marshall Inn of Court. He also served as the president of the Student Bar Association.
Mike earned a black belt in kenpo jiu jitsu and has served as a martial arts instructor and a women's self-defense teacher since 2004.
