Staphylococcal infection

Staphylococcal toxins are a common cause of food poisoning, as they can be produced in improperly-stored food. Staphylococci are also known to be a cause of bacterial conjunctivitis.[1] Among neurosurgical patients, it can cause community-acquired meningitis.
