DNA APTAMER RECOGNIZING ARGININE TAG APPLICATION IN BIOTECHNOLOGY

テクノロジー The offer is a DNA aptamer that recognizes Arg-Tag. DNA aptamers are single-stranded short DNA oligonucleotides characterized by high specificity and affinity to target molecule. In the present invention molecular target can be any molecule: peptide, protein or DNA derivative containing Arg-Tag. DNA aptamer that recognizes Arg-Tag – application in:  Purification of the target molecules containing an Arg-Tag. The offered Anti-Arginine Tag DNA aptamer for biotechnological applications is patent pending. Further research and development of the invention are continued at the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University. Currently the Centre for Innovation, Technology Transfer and University Development (CITTRU) is looking for entities interested in commercial application of the invention.
