Challenge a competitor's patent application for a technology we developed

Question

Hello! We are a start-up company based in London. A competitor of ours has applied for a patent regarding technology that we believe we developed before them. Our technology has not been made public yet and for financial reasons we also have not applied for a patent ourselves. Is there any way to challenge our competitor's application?

how do you know that your competitor applied for your technology's patent? if you or your team have any proof that your shared your technology with them in any way it can be a trade secret case but for this you have to really consult a patent attorney in your area.

Maybe, depending on a bunch more specifics. You need to visit with a local patent attorney.
