German company – which type for foreign investors

Question

Good afternoon! I would like to ask another question, thank you for your interest!

We are a startup still in the phase of developing our core product. However, we are exploring opportunities to raise capital. Some say, raising funding for startups in Germany is very tricky (Please comment on this!) and we would therefore like to expand our reach to foreign investors as well.

My question is, which type of corporation should we as a startup choose to be interesting to Angels/VCs? Would a regular limited liability company (UG/GmbH) be alright? What is the experience for foreign investors investing into German startups?
