Hi Eliana! Was anyone able to answer your question sufficiently? We note that Panama joined the PCT relatively recently, on September 7, 2012. According to the WIPO ("OMPI") website, the deadline for a national phase filing in Panama under either Article 22 or Article 39(1) is 30 months. We aren't sure how strict Panama's patent office is about enforcing the 30 month deadline -- but undoubtedly one of our friends in Panama has some insight on this.
