What is usually the most efficient and inexpensive way to do this? What would be a ballpark budget? We would like to include non-EU countries like Switzerland and Norway.

To file a Trademark in CH you may obtain all Official Fees clicking on www.ige.ch. Up to three Classes the Official Fees are actually CHF 550.00.
If you do not have a Company or run a business in CH you must appoint a local agent and ask for an Estimate of Costs.
