Question
What happens when a seed-funded startup is unable to raise a Series A and they run out of money? What are their alternatives?
Answers: 1 public & 0 private
Very basically, if you are not raising any money through the sale of equity you are left with debt financing (loans) or gifts (family& friends, perhaps, or kickstarter). If the startup has any patented technology, perhaps it can obtain revenue through licenses.
Truly useful advice will require the disclosure of specific facts related to your enterprise and previous attempts at fundraising; for that you should speak with local commercial or IP counsel.
