Should we register a C-Corp in the US?

Question

We are in the phase of bringing our software product to alpha and are planning some tests with early adopters soon. If everything goes as planned, we would like to launch a seed round within the next weeks and months, but we haven't incorporated our company yet. We are based in Germany, so naturally everybody is telling us that the UG/GmbH is the way to go. After having looked through some of the questions here I am wondering though if perhaps we should register a C-Corp in the US. We want to re-locate our business to the US anyway at some point. For investor-friendliness and such reasons, would it be advisable to register the company in the States?
