What kind of deal do startup lawyers usually offer to founders for legal advice? I know a couple of entrepreneurs who got quoted high fees for legal work on funding and IP, but they opted for a big law firm name anyway because they thought it would help with fundraising. In order for a startup to hire a lawyer pre-funding, what do the usual fee arrangements look like?
