Dr. Albertino Francisco is an Applied Mathematician and Computer Scientist, with an MBA in Management of Technology, Innovation and Knowledge, and a Doctoral Degree in Management Science. He is an experienced Forex trader and business consultant, with over 18 years of professional experience in private, public, non-governmental and international organizations, including the UN system, within and without his home country. He loves working with mathematical logic or algorithm to solve problems in fields where he can apply advanced mathematical, technological and economic concepts. Due to his political background as a former state government official and business consultant, he as a huge portfolio of high level contacts and can interact with the main network of public and private decision makers and other influential personalities.
Work history
Almost always acting independently as a consultant, I served a variety of institutions throughout my career, including the United Nations system in Sao Tome and Principe for about 10 years, where I designed and evaluated projects. As an independent consultant, I have served a number of public, private, national and international organizations, and have teaching experience.
Education and qualifications
I have a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, I hold a Long Term Advanced Training Course in Technology, Innovation and Knowledge Management, both from the University of Aveiro, and a PhD in Business Sciences, from Fernando Pessoa University.
