Plasmalogen-containing lipid

Patent Pending PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract plasmalogen-containing lipid by using only solvent capable of being used in beverage and food fields. ; SOLUTION: This method for extracting the plasmalogen is provided by crushing lyophilized aquatic animals, agitating by adding acetone, recovering a residue, then adding mixed solvent of n-hexane/ethanol/water (containing 24 to 46 vol.% n-hexane and <=40 vol.% water) to the recovered residue, agitating and recovering filtrate. The temperature for the extraction is preferably at 20 to 35[deg.]C.
