Patent Granted 1. The invention refers to a retractable car cover, used, mainly, in the automotive field, but also in other fields where it can be used. 5. The technical problem that the invention solves consists in the realization of a retractable car cover that can be easily installed on a car and which can provide protection, by preventing the overheating from the inside and the dust deposition during summer and by freeing the car owners with no garage from the duty of removing the snow from their car. 6. The retractable car cover, according to the invention, has a drum mounted in one of the car bumpers and it is provided with a longitudinal slot. A roller tube of the cover rotates on the drum, the cover being equipped with a spring mechanismand at the outer end being provided with a clamping ring, and thus the technical problem is solved and the above mentioned disadvantages are removed, as the drum consists of two parts joined end to end and fixed to the vehicle bumper with screws, through holes cut at its end. 7. The advantages of this invention are the fact that the people not owning a garage do not need to wipe of the snow from the car, do not have to defrost the windows and waste time with these operations during winter. Also, during summer, the interior of the car will not overheat excessively and there will not be so much dust on the vehicle anymore.
