Patent Granted The device has an expandable element communicated with a lumen of a shaft for expansion by therapeutic agent when delivered through the lumen of the shaft, where the expandable element is adapted with a blood vessel, and includes a disrupting mechanism arranged about an outer surface of the expandable element for causing the expandable element to burst open to deliver the agent to an area of the blood vessel in communication with the expandable element. The disrupting mechanism includes a breakage line formed in the outer surface of the expandable element. Medical material delivery device for use with a medical instrument for delivering medical material to vascular and nonvascular bodily parts. Uses include but are not limited to a trocar, a cannula, a guide wire, a scalpel, a sheath and a catheter for delivering clotted blood, radiotherapy agent, chemotherapeutic agent, thrombin, fibrin, liquid embolic material, lipid based sealing material, common coagulation or embolization material and phase changeable material such as acrylic bone cement, to blood vessels, trachea, bronchial tree, vascular tree, elementary tract, biliary tree, bones or bodily compartments and spaces or cavities. ADVANTAGE The device allows a health care practitioner to control the medical material delivery device by gripping directly a shaft or depending on user's needs, so the user can grasp the handle or structure that is secured to a proximal end for advancement and positioning of the medical material delivery device. The channel allows a guide to be placed in conjunction with a medical instrument, thus allowing ease of use of the medical material delivery device along with the medical instrument during medical procedure.
