Unified Power Quality Conditioner

テクノロジー Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) is seeking companies to license a novel 12kVA Uni­ed Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) for power quality enhancement. The UPQC allows optimal control of a power electronics-based conditioner. It comprises both shunt and series elements (inverters) that compensate for sags/swells, unbalance and distortion (harmonics) in the supply current and supply voltage respectively. The UPQC delivers cost savings, increased reliability and enhanced electrical power network functionality.
