What does Brexit mean for patent applicants?

Hello,

I would like to know what the fact that Britain is going to leave the EU means for patent applicants/holders. Business as usual? Should startups worry about their IP? And what about European patents currently in the applications process?

Brexit will also surely have an impact related to already granted and pending European Trademarks and Designs but we do not yet know when we will know (uncertainty) how to act and within which due date.
