Patent Pending PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial sphincter giving an autonomous evacuation to an ostomate to thereby improve QOL (quality of life) and reduce postoperative complications. ; SOLUTION: This artificial sphincter is buried to clamp an internal excretory duct such as large intestine, ileum, or ureter connected to a stoma under the ostomy peripheral skin or in a muscular coat of a patient subjected to ostomy such as colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy, and the internal excretory duct can be manually closed and opened from above the skin.
