Patent Granted An ultrasonograph for measuring a blood vessel wall comprising a transmitting section for driving a probe for transmitting an ultrasonic wave to a subject including blood vessels, a receiving section for receiving ultrasonic echoes produced when the ultrasonic wave is reflected by the subject by means of the probe and generating a reception signal, a tomogram processing section for creating an image signal for displaying a tomogram of the subject on a display section from the reception signal, a first boundary setting means for setting a first boundary according to the displayed tomogram, and a second boundary creating section for creating at least one second boundary by translating the first boundary.
