Patent Granted An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus allowing elastic modulus measurement with high precision without increasing the scale of the circuit. A computation part (3) computes the movement velocity or the movement displacement and the strain variation of an organism tissue using a signal from a transmitting/receiving part (2). A frequency analysis part (4) performs a frequency analysis of the movement velocity and the movement displacement of the organism tissue determined by the computation part (3).
