Patent Pending PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis for a noninvasive amyloid accumulative disease, excellent in not only qualitativeness but also quantitativeness, and reduced in toxicity and a burden to a subject. ; SOLUTION: This diagnostic device of the present invention is a device used for detecting an amyloid [beta]-protein having [beta]-sheet structure, and has a means for irradiating a specimen with a long wavelength of light, and a means for analyzing a long wavelength of fluorescence obtained by the irradiation. An operation method therefor is also provided in the present invention.
