X-ray Mobile DaRts

Technology When it comes to medical emergencies, time is of the essence so Shimadzu Corporation released their MobileDaRt, a mobile x-ray machine that uses an attached flat panel display to speed up analysis and treatment. The display is 14x17" and within three seconds of exposure displays the x-ray eliminating the time needed to develop or changing film cassettes. Thus the x-rays can be checked quickly in case they have to be redone. Along with the flat panel display, a network cable is built in to allow storage and quick transfer of data to a computer network or printer.
