If I own a patent, do I have the right to exploit the invention?
Hi there! If we succeed in getting a patent for our technology, do we have a universal right to exploit the patented technology? Or could we still be liable to other patent-holders due to infringement?

A patent gives you the right to exclude others from practicing your invention. But if practicing your invention requires that you practice another's patented invention, you could be held liable for infringing the other patent.
