What to do if OHIM application is rejected

Question

I have submitted a trademark application to OHIM and I'm waiting for the results. What potential response could I get besides an approval/registration? If the application is rejected, what would be my next step? Or can I just forget about the trademark then? Thank you in advance

Another option you may wish to consider is converting your EUTM application into separate EU Member State applications where circumstances allow. While there are some procedural hoops to jump through and additional costs, your converted application/s will retain the filing date of your EUTM.
