Patent Granted It is intended to provide a liquid for preventing tissue adhesion which is easy to use due to the stability of covering condition during an operation and generally applicable to a surgical operation and a method of preventing tissue adhesion. The liquid for preventing tissue adhesion contains trehalose as an active ingredient, and further contains at least one component of an antioxidant, a chelating agent, a sterilizing agent, a hemostatic agent, an antiphlogistic agent, a polysaccharide with a lubricating property, a mucopolysaccharide, a salt of a polysaccharide and a salt of a mucopolysaccharide.
